Sir John Rutter receives honorary degree from the University of Cambridge

Sir John Rutter (1967, Honorary Fellow) was honoured in the Senate House on Wednesday, receiving an honorary doctorate of music from the University of Cambridge.
Sir John was one of eight individuals from the worlds of arts, music, sciences, sport and politics to receive an honorary degree, the highest honour that the University bestows.
The following day, Sir John and Lady Rutter joined staff and Fellows in the gardens at Âé¶¹ÉäÇø for a celebration of his achievements and to thank him for his ongoing contribution to the College’s musical life.
